The Drew Thomson Foundation Vol 1: It's pretty empty in here

melancholyfall Earlier Drew stuff has a certain charm that the more recent stuff lacks. Not that the newer stuff and it's sound is bad in any regard. But I find myself coming back to this quite often. Definitely the superior version of Phone Ring in my opinion. And this album has Stephen King so it's basically perfect. I'd put this in my top 10 albums of all time without question. Favorite track: Stephen King.

Adam Reiss This album took a hold of me in an unexpected way. It didn't stick after my first listen, but then I found myself wanting to come back to it more and more until I had it on repeat all day. Great stuff, reminds me of a toned down version of the Meltdown EP. Definitely a good thing. Favorite track: Phone Ring.

Shane Quinn Cuz Drew is a fearlessly great street poet. And sneakily good songwriter.
