Doors Open 03:29
Caught a glimpse as you slide away Wonder what it could possible be now Caught a feeling of running away Not much to do or see here anyhow And I’ve been wondering When I would start to feel this again ‘Cuz I’ve been pretty good at pushing it down And I’ve been wondering When you would start to feel this again The door’s open if you want to leave 'Cuz II don’t wanna be the way That you think that you’re feeling The door’s open if you want to leave ‘Cuz as hard as it gets It only gets better if you’re willing To stick it out and see Time won’t stand still for anyone And every spark is sure to lose some of it’s shine If I don’t stand with the best of them Why don’t you tell me what you wanna find I’ve been wondering When I would start to feel this again ‘Cuz I’ve been pretty good at pushing it down I’ve been wondering When you would start to feel this again The door’s open if you want to leave I don’t wanna be the way That you think that you’re feeling The door’s open if you want to leave ‘Cuz as hard as it gets It only gets better if you’re willing To stick it out and see

Gasoline 03:12
Your Daddy says that I ain’t Christian enough Says the blood running through me ain’t the kind that god loves He says he knows my mom from back in school and all that stuff he says he’ll kill me one of these days but I called his bluff And your Daddy don’t like any of your tattoos He says it just ain’t something he’ll get used to He don’t know what you’ve been doing Or the things they cover up He says he’ll love you no matter what But you called his bluff I’ve been living in a Chrysler since the day that i got out I've been running out of options I’ve been tightening my belt Sleeping through the sent of gasoline And stolen property Sure brings back a lot of happy memories Of you and me Well your Daddy says that he had tried to warn you Ya, he had read me up and down and just saw bad news He says You’re all he’ll ever need if you just stay away from me He don’t want his family tree blending with weeds I’ve been living in a Chrysler since the day that i got out I’ve been Running out of options I’ve been tightening my belt Sleeping through the sent of gasoline In stolen property Sure brings back a lot of happy memories Of you and me

When that feeling hits I can’t explain it But I know that there’s no point in trying to tame it it’s either everything right now Or nothing matters anyway It’s either let’s burn this whole place down Or, I got no complaints Watching the sun come up as I’m coming down I’m the highest right before I hit the ground Learning to enjoy the ride when I know what’s coming ‘round I’m going to ride the wave instead of trying not to drown And then for weeks I’m tired and hazy I get pushed and pulled but nothing seems to phase me It’s just brush everybody off and leave it for another day It’s either lay around in bed or hope to fade away And on a dime it’s like my world changed I can feel something alive come out of hiding My heart starts pumping out new blood I let my mind to race I want to burn this old place down Rebuild it my way Watching the sun come up as I’m coming down I’m the highest right before I hit the ground Learning to enjoy the ride when I know what’s coming ‘round I’m going to ride the wave instead of trying not to drown
